27th September - Quiz Night at The Crown

Do you think you could beat the Eggheads? Are you a local Mastermind? Or maybe you're just looking for a fun night out?

Join us for a quiz night at The Crown (upstairs) on Friday 27th September.

As well as a quiz, there will be a Tombola and some spot prizes.

Tickets are £1 per head, and available from Whickham Library or on the door.

All money raised will support the Whickham Volunteer Library.

Congratulations to Michael Richardson who completed his Great North Run in 1 hour 46 minutes, a personal best!

Michael Richardson is taking part in this year’s Great North Run on 8th September. Raised in Whickham, he’s now a GP in Woking, but comes home as often as he can, and he has offered to run the GNR to raise funds for us, to help make sure we can keep our library open.
