Opening of The Library Lounge

As part of the Warm Space initiative, Whickham Volunteer Library will be opening the newly refurbished community room (now known as the Library

lounge) as a warm space.

All are welcome. Tea, Coffee and Juice will be available. We open on Monday 10th October and the Library Lounge will be open during library opening hours.

The Warm Space Charter promises:

1. A warm welcome

2. Everyone will be treated with dignity and respect

3. It will be a safe place - we will hold to safeguarding principles, food hygiene!

4. It will be confidential

5. It will be non-judgmental. People can come in for whatever reason they need to be there

We hope to see you there.
